MORE TIM HOLTZ GOODIES...BRACE YOURSELF FOR THIS ONE...(HONEY IF YOU ARE READING THIS - IT'S ON MY LIST OF NEXT CRAFTING AQUISITIONS...)

DIES & TEXTURE PLATES FOR THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED "SUITCASE"...
KEEP SCROLLING DOWN TO GET A LOOK AT IT ALL!

NOW FOR THE "SUITCASE"

It is a compact motorized machine designed to cut anything you can imagine from grungeboard to fabric, wood, and acrylic. It will texture so deep with the texture fades it will emboss grungeboard no problem, and it's all compact in this suitcase. Yep- the suitcase IS the machine. The cord stows away in a side compartment and the hardware on the top of the suitcase operates the machine. And with the push of a button the 2 side panels open up from the suitcase creating the platform for the machine and the other switch operates the motors of it. Again this is just a prototype that Tim got to play with during the CHA show but it will be available to the public this July. Tiny, portable, and so cute to look at I can't wait for it to come out. July cannot get here soon enough. Tim has to be as patient as all of us because after the show he had to give the prototype back to Sizzix so they could complete production.

GOTTA LOVE THE "TIMSTER"!

CRAFTING TIP OF THE WEEK (#22) HOW WOULD THAT COLOR LOOK?

Hi everyone!
This week's tip is designed to help you see the colors & effects of your paints, Stickles & other painting products at a glance.

Take the Stickles or paints and dab a drop on the tops of the caps of the bottles. Let them dry thoroughly then store them horizontally facing out so you can see the tops.
This is a practical solution on so many levels. For one, you can see the color quickly, it is also a good reference to have them all facing out so you can see all your options no matter if it is paint or Stickles and also you can compare & contrast effects.
Remember that the Stickles or paints can look slightly darker or more concentrated on your projects depending on the thickness with which it is applied and the lighting so please take that into consideration when making your selections.
Happy Crafting!
